Special Children's Christmas Party

The first St. Thomas Special Children's Christmas Party was held in December 1971, and the thirty-seventh was December 11, 2008.  This tradition is the highlight of the Christmas season for dozens of physically and mentally challenged children in the Huntsville city school system.  Many St. Thomas adults take the day off work for the occasion, St. Thomas youth get the day off school to help out, and the parish hall is transformed into a Christmas wonderland to the delight of one and all.  Even St. Nick himself puts in an appearance with gifts for all the children.  Watch this page for news about next year's party!
