Vision and Mission Statement

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church's mission is to be a community of people who bear witness to the light of Christ by living out our baptismal covenant as we continue:

·        In the Apostles' teaching and fellowship by providing Christian Education and study for spiritual growth while embracing and supporting our growing parish family;

·        In the breaking of bread through worship and prayer, welcoming the whole Christian community at our Lord’s table;

·        To seek and serve Christ in all people by respecting the dignity of every human being and by caring for our less fortunate brothers and sisters, both near and far.

Our vision is to offer God our very selves, each of us with different gifts, so that united in Christ, we form one body – one that proclaims the love of God through our works and worship.

Lord God, we ask that you bless us with wisdom, compassion, and courage to shine your light into the darkness of the world, Kindle in us the lamp of faith and charity that it may burn in us, and shed its light on those around us, showing the power of your love in all we do. Amen.
