Lectors, Ushers & Greeters

Lectors read the Lessons aloud to the congregation, and lead the recitation of the Psalms.  For our current lector roster, please see the Members section.

Ushers have several duties.  They distribute bulletins, help people find seats, take a headcount, carry the bread and wine to the altar, pass the offering plate, and direct people to the altar during the Eucharist.

Greeters are those who welcome people as they come in the door.  In a church as big as St. Thomas we don't always know each other, and greeters help insure that everyone gets a friendly hello each Sunday.
